THE SECTION

The Section of School Libraries concerns itself with the improvement and development of school libraries and resource centres worldwide, especially advocacy for their qualified and adequate staffing. It provides an international forum for exchanging ideas, experiences, research results and advocacy

The times in the program are flexible. They are indications and can be adapted according to the circumstances.


+ Participants will be asked to mention:

  1. Name

  2. Name of 'school'

  3. Position in 'school'

  4. Number of years working as a 'librarian'​

  5. 'Bad' things in the working environment

  6. 'Good' things in the working environment

* An unconference is a participant-driven meeting. The term "unconference" has been applied, or self-applied, to a wide range of gatherings that try to avoid hierarchical aspects of a conventional conference, such as sponsored presentations and top-down organization.
